how to apply during middle school
Gotham Professional Arts Academy is an Ed. Opt. (Educational Option) public community school. No portfolio or audition is required for admission, but priority is given to students who attend an Info Session, Open House or High School Fair.
Gotham's code for the HS application is L35A.
Tip: Put Gotham Academy in your top 3 choices to increase your chances of being matched to our school.
Be sure to submit your application to your guidance counselor by the deadline.
New to NYC? Looking for a change of school?
*NOTE: Due to our rigorous graduation requirements and the fact that our students select and begin to traverse their majors at the end of grade 9 at Gotham, we generally do not recommend transferring to Gotham after grade 10.
